Columbus Hosts Eucador National Team
With the Wrold Cup approaching in a matter of days, the United States has a massive focus on soccer. But one team in Columbus has put their Home Opener on hold for a rare opportunity. With Columbus playing host to Eucador's National Team this summer, they have selected a group of USL2 athletes to assist in their training sessions.
Media was permitted to interview Goalkeeper Hernan Galindez and Striker Jordy Caicedo before a short window into the team's warmp ups for training. King's Hammer in only their second season in the league has met over the last couple weeks with Eucador in what is surely a core memory for the young athletes.
King's Hammer will now host their Home Opener agaisnt Nothern Indiana on May 30th. Rescheduling the previous match against Dayton Dutch Lions to July 6th. Eucador will play a friendly against Guatamala at Scott's Miracle Grow this Sunday on June 7th.
